Develop better treatment for Baroreflex Failure. Baroreflex Failure is a rare disorder characterized by change of blood pressure with episodes of severe hypertension, as much as 250/160. This can be followed in 2 hours by severe hypotension, as low as 70/50 resulting in dizziness and possible fainting. Caused by damage to the baroreceptors.
