Does any one know anything about this? I’ve had palpitations for years. Past out a few months ago. My heart rate runs 100bpm normally. So when it hits 160-180 I am having issues.
I’ve had bouts of A-fib for several years now. Tachycardia. Recently, I was diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome with HR in the 40’s. I wasn’t particularly bothered by it but the doctors were. SSS is a term used to describe the inability of the SA node to generate at HR to keep up with the needs of the individual. My doctor decreased the dose of my medication to increase my HR from the 40s so we shall see. I will refuse a pacemaker or ablation but that’s just me. There’s lots of information out there to look up. Hope this helps a little.
